At about 7 months KK started getting ear infections. It seems like she gets them every other week. So our peditrican recommended that we go see an ENT. We have decided to get tubes. Kennedy also has clogged tear ducts also. We noticed when she was born that her eyes were always teary and gookie looking. The doc said that they should open up on there own before 6-9 months. Well they haven't opened. If you notice in some pics, she has tears in her eyes. (That is the tear ducts) So we are having those opened when we get tubes. Both surgery's I have heard are very minor and only last a couple mins. We go to CHOA on Jan 27th for both procedures. I am very nervous of the thought of putting her to sleep. But we have had many friends have the procedures done and they say it is super fast. I am just ready for her not to be feeling bad so often.
We are working on solid foods with Kennedy. She wants nothing to do with it. She eats stage 3 great. But when we add in the chunks she tries to spit it out or doesn't swallow. We are working on the puffs, but every time it goes down her throught she gaggs.I am afraid she is going to go to college on Gerber. I am trying to explain to her that's not an option on the buffett. Who Know's?!? Maybe it will just click one day. I have heard consistency is the key. So we will keep trying.
Kennedy is moving up to the big girl class at school. Both her friends Connor and Brayden have already moved up. So she will be very excited to join them. They love following each other around the room. When I picked up her a couple weeks ago, Connor and Kennedy had both crawled under the bouncy seat and were just there looking at everyone.
So many new thing going and happening so fast. I will try and post more updates soon.
