Okay. I know. I know. I have been so bad about updating the blog. I promised that I was going to be good about doing this and have fallen behind. So sorry for all of you that are giving me a hard time. We have had so much going on and I have been eating up every minute with my new daughter. When I am sitting with her and I think about updating this. I just decide to give her a big kiss and sit with her some more. She has grown so much over the last month and has been creating her own little space in this world. Here is a little bit of what's been going on.
Kennedy is such a sweetie. I really could not ask for a better baby. She is starting to coo and tells me so many stories all day. My favorite part of the day with her is when we wake up. I ask her all about her sweet dreams and she tells me. Sometimes she smiles and laughs while she sleeps and I know its that same bunny rabbit chasing her again. (thats our little thing) Kennedy is sleeping through the night, but is still in the bassenet in mommy and daddy's room. I can't bring myself to put her in her own room. I know it is coming soon, but I am going to enjoy my last couple nights with her. She can follow me with her eyes and it melts my heart when I walk up to her and she gives me a big smile. I think she is going to have a dimple like her mommy.
We have had been doing alot over the last month. From family pics to mothers day and we just go back from the beach. She loved it. We really only put her in her bathing suit on to put her tosies in the pool water, but she sure looked cute doing it. I have posted pics of all the events. I will try to get better with this whole blog thing. As many of you know being a new mom doesn't leave you much time. Hope to talk with you soon....
We took our first trip with Kennedy to the beach last week. We had a great time. She was excellent. She slept the whole way down and back while mommy watched sweet home alabama. Kennedy didn't really leave the condo, but only to put her toes in the water. It was nice to get away and do some shopping.
This is my first mothers day with Kennedy. We had a great day. Since we had spent most of the day before with my family taking pictures. We went to granny and poppy's to spend the day with them. They love seeing KK and visit her usually weekly. They have shown me so many pictures of Lee when he was her age and she looks just like him. She is ate up with her daddy!
