Easter Bunny Hop! Hop! Hop!
Easter was fun in the Rider House. We dyed Easter Eggs on Thursday. Kennedy was actually good.(didn't break any) The hardest part was waiting on the eggs to cool after we boiled them. Kennedy loves to hop like a bunny. She says hop, hop, hop. We attended 3 Easter Egg Hunts. By Sunday she was a champ at catching those easter eggs. We started with the first at school on Friday. Mommy and daddy came to share in the fun. Kennedy and her partner's in crime Anna Lane and Braden were so excited about the Easter eggs on the playground. They kept peaking out the window wanting to go out. They were so much fun to watch. On Saturday we headed up to Granny and Poppy's and got lots of egg's. These eggs were special because they had money in them. (which Kennedy loves putting change in her piggy bank) Kennedy and Rider had egg's overflowing out of there basket. Sunday the easter bunny came, we went to church, then headed over of Shannon's for the Day Easter egg hunt. We got a cute pic of all the granddauther's on Mom's side of the family. We had Ham and all the yummie's for Easter Sunday. Kennedy still has easter candy left. Usually after dinner she asks, can I have a treat and mommy let's her pick one peice out of her easter bag.

KENNEDY Turns 2!!!
Hey Everyone. We had a very exciting weekend. Kennedy turned 2. I can't believe it. She is growing so fast. We started Friday with her birthday party at school. Mommy and Daddy brought cupcakes for her to share with all her friends. Kennedy loves to sing the birthday song. But does not like everyone singing to her. So we attempted to sing then all enjoyed yummie cup cakes. Then on Sunday we celebrated with all our friends at Catch Air. This the best place with all sorts of bouncy things and slides. All week long we would say we are going to the bouncy place on Sunday for your birthday and all your friends are going to be there. Then she would start naming off all her friends and cousins. We had a great time and everyone was so good to her. She got a Barbie Jammin Jeep from Mommy and Daddy. Which she has enjoyed riding in all week. She had a great day. I can't believe it has come and gone. Where did my baby go? She had her 2 year check up on Monday and the doctor says she looks great. Still measuring on in the 25% for height. Which amazes me, since I am 5'8 and Lee is 6'2. Maybe she will hit a growth spurt. She showed Dr. Douglas how she can sign really well and said please and thank you. She did get a shot though. Which she calls a boo, boo and Mommy has been rumbing all week. Here are some pics of the weekend!

It's been a couple months...
Hey friends. Hope everyone is doing well. I wanted to give a quick update of what's going on in the Rider house. Kennedy is growing up so fast and is about to move up to the big girl class next week. (Toddler II) We will have to say goodbye to our friend Anna Lane Norton. She won't be far behind though, since she is only a couple months younger than KK. (she is in the valentines day pic with kennnedy...enjoying treats:) We will also say bye to Ms. Janna and Ms. Sondra. They have been so good and sweet to Kennedy. We will miss seeing them. Everyone at Carrington is wonderful. We are so happy that we enrolled Kennedy there and could not say more nice things about the school. Kennedy is working on saying bye bye to Paci. Kennedy only gets it at night. Hopefully should would have said good bye for good by her birthday next month. She has become very vocal since we have taken it away. I can't believe the stuff that comes out of her mouth. She has such a vocab. Lee and I are like where does she get this stuff from (so funny) She is very good with saying Please and Thank you. We are working on Excuse me. Still have some work to do on that. Kennedy is rocking the tee tee in the potty. Only taken a couple poopies in the potty though, but its coming. She does great at school and is very vocal when she had to go and when she has a poopie diaper. Doesn't just want to tell you, but also wants to show you. So we have reverted back to onsies for a little while:) Kennedy had a great Valentines Day. She had a couple special treats waiting on her when she woke up that morning from Daddy and Mommy. Mommy went to school for her party. Kennedy gave Valentines to all her friends. Even Luke. Luke is Kennedy's special friend. He is a couple years older and is always so sweet and protective over her. Everyone at school knows that Kennedy is Lukes girl ;) Daddy hates it. Later that day Daddy's 2 favorite girls surprised him at LAX practice. We had a very sweet day:) We will be welcoming 2 new cousins this summer. Aunt Ashley and Aunt Amanda are both expecting. We know aunt Amanda is having a girl and not quit sure what Aunt Ashley is having. But we are super excited. If either one's name starts with a K, there wardrobe is set. I have added pics from Braden's B-day party at the firestation. So much fun, the kids love it! Daddy and Mommy are doing good. LAX is in full swing and Mommy is loving her new job. Travel has calmed down, which is good. Only 1 or 2 nights every couple weeks. Which gives daddy special time with Kennedy. They usually do daddy date nights. Consisting of BBQ and Mickey. Because as most mommies know, when m
ommy is around it's all Ma Ma. Spring is right around the corner and we can't wait for Summer! Talk with you soon...

Christmas Time
We had a very busy Decemeber. Kennedy was full of excitment even though she really didn't know why. Maybe because Mommy and Daddy were so excited. We started the Holiday season with a trip to see Santa at the mall with our cousin Hope. The closest we got to Santa was the Christmas tree behind him. Hope was not really favoring Santa that day, so neither was Kennedy. We couldn't even get her on his lap. So we thought we would try again later, maybe once she had seen him a couple more times on TV or in books. We would talked about Santa and how he would bring her special treats if she was a really good girl. Every night in December we would load up in the car and go look at the Christmas lights in our neighborhood and the ones around us. Kennedy would get so excited and say lights, ho ho and frosty. We let her sit in our lap up front and she thoug ht it was so cool. The week before Christmas Kennedy had her Christmas party at school. She attends Carrington Academy at Windemere. She shared special gifts with Ms. Janna, Ms. Sondra and Ms. Kala. Kennedy also has had a special friend join her class. Anna Lane Norton. Anna Lane is the daughter of one of Mommy's sorority sisters from school. Kennedy is about 3 months older than Anna Lane. Anna Lane is so precious and looks so much like her mommy Lisa. The week before Christmas we visited so many fun Holiday places. We rode the pink pig at Lenox and saw lights at Lake Lanier. Mommy thought we would try Santa one more time. We were not really prepared to see Santa (Daddy was still in his sweats from practice) But at least we made it on his lap this time. Christmas eve eve we spent the night at granny and poppy's in Dahlonega and spent time with the Rider side of the family. Aunt Gail and Aunt Kathy were so sweet to KK. Santa even made an early stop at Granny's to leave Kennedy some things in her stocking. We then came home on Christmas eve so santa could visit Kennedy at our house. She must have been a very good girl because Santa was very generous. Kennedy was so cute on Christmas morning when we came down stairs. Her eyes got really big and she made that noise she makes with her mouth when she gets really excited(mmmumm). Kennedy got presents under the tree from Mommy and Daddy including a potty. She has been pottying in the big girl potty at school and on Mommy and Daddy's potty at home. This potty is so adoreable it sings when she tee tee's. She get's so excited and is getting really good. The way she is telling us she has to go, is by grabbing a diaper out. When we see this we take off running to the bathroom. Christmas Day we went to Grandmommy's and Grandddaddy's to spend time with the Day side of the family. Grandmommy and Grandaddy got Kennedy a great rocking chair and cute clothe's. She chased all the big kids around and they were so sweet and kind to her. We are still enjoying time together and trying to fiqure out where we are going to put all the new gifts. It seems as kids get older presents get bigger. We are very fortunate for all the incredible gifts that have been given to us.We thank god every night for Kennedy. (We do Now I lay me with KK at bed time. That is what we grew up on) Kennedy is the best gift that Lee and I have ever gotten. We are so blessed that she is in our lives!
